Durkan & Sons Ltd delivered specialist groundworks and civil engineering works as part of the restoration of The Piece Hall in Halifax.
The works supported the transformation of the site into a destination for retail, hospitality, culture and public events while carefully preserving its historic character. Every phase required close coordination with conservation specialists, engineers and the wider project team.

Spoil was removed using a bespoke conveyor system, reducing plant movements and helping protect the historic structure while excavation progressed within the constrained site.
