Overview
Durkan & Sons Ltd delivered a comprehensive groundworks and civil engineering package for a new residential development at Cluntergate, Horbury, near Wakefield.
Working for Mandale Homes in 2016, our team provided the below-ground infrastructure and external works required to support the construction of 75 new homes. The package included roads and sewers, deep drainage, foundations, plot services and external works across the development.
Scope of Works
Roads & Sewers
Construction of the development’s access roads together with the installation of foul and surface water drainage infrastructure serving the new homes.
Deep Drainage
Excavation and installation of deep drainage and surface water infrastructure, including drainage measures designed to manage runoff across the development.
Footings & Foundations
Excavation and construction of foundations for the 75-home residential development, providing the groundwork required for the subsequent building works.
Plot Services & Drainage
Installation of plot drainage connections and service routes to support the individual properties throughout the development.
Paving & External Works
Completion of kerbing, paving and associated external works to form the finished roads, footways and external areas serving the development.
