Overview
Durkan & Sons Ltd were appointed by K2 Mechanical & Engineering Services Ltd to deliver groundworks and civil engineering support at Romford Greyhound Stadium, one of the UK’s leading greyhound racing venues.
The works involved installing 2-way and 4-way 100mm ducting, trenchless ducting routes, constructing a 2000mm x 3000mm x 450mm concrete plinth, and completing drainage improvements to reduce surface water build-up on the racing track.
All activities were carried out within the stadium grounds, ensuring minimal disruption to scheduled events and safe working alongside ongoing venue operations.
