Mandale Homes appointed Durkan & Sons to provide comprehensive groundworks services for their flagship development, Ballard Hall, in the prestigious Ranmoor area of Sheffield. This project, completed in September 2014, involved constructing the foundations for 24 luxury homes, comprising a mix of 4 and 5-bedroom properties. The challenge was to ensure the groundwork was completed to the highest standards and coordinated seamlessly with other trades on a tight schedule to meet the client’s deadlines for this high-profile development.

- Constructing robust retaining walls to create usable space.
- Laying the foundations for 24 luxury homes, including RC foundations, concrete slabs, and brickwork up to DPC.
- Completing all 278 works (roads and sewers) to the highest standards.
- Creating aesthetically pleasing and durable paving and externals.
