Increase in Workload and Upcoming Projects – Early 2026
Durkan & Sons Ltd is experiencing a continued increase in workload, supported by a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming civil engineering and groundworks projects scheduled to commence from early 2026 onwards.
As a result of this sustained growth, we are expanding our site delivery capability and are actively seeking experienced operatives and subcontractors to support our operations across Yorkshire and the wider North of England.
We are currently inviting enquiries for the following roles:
- Deep drainage gangs
- Groundworkers and groundworking gangs
- Plant operators / excavator drivers (up to 25 tonnes)
These opportunities are suited to individuals and established teams with proven experience in civil engineering and groundworks, who are capable of working on live construction and infrastructure sites to programme and quality standards.
All works are delivered under planned, well-managed site conditions, with a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and professional site conduct.
