About the Opportunity
Durkan & Sons Ltd are seeking experienced groundworkers and groundworking gangs to support current and future civil engineering and groundworks projects across Yorkshire and the wider North of England.
Works will include general groundworks on live construction sites, delivered to programme and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. This opportunity is suited to competent individuals or established gangs with a strong track record in groundworks delivery.
Scope of Works:
- General groundworks and civils operations
- Foundations, drainage, kerbing and concrete works
- External works including paving and edging
- Working alongside plant and site supervision on live sites
Requirements:
- Proven experience in groundworks or civil engineering works
- Ability to work from drawings and site instructions
- Valid CSCS cards and relevant competency tickets
- Strong understanding of health, safety and quality standards
- Reliable, professional approach to site work
