Durkan & Sons Ltd delivered a specialist flood defence and civil engineering package to protect a critical electrical and communications facility located alongside the River Aire in Kirkstall, Leeds.
The site had experienced significant flood risk due to its proximity to the River Aire and required a robust engineered solution to safeguard essential infrastructure against future flood events. Working within a live operational environment, our team designed and constructed permanent flood protection measures while maintaining the integrity of the existing services and infrastructure.
